Let’s Make it a Real TREAT!

The Children’s Ministry and SUMLife will host this FREE community event on Saturday October 12, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. Come for games, food, a bon fire, hay ride, pumpkin patch, and more. Goody bags will be provided and it is a fun time for the whole family. We will also feature a Trunk or Treat beginning at 7:00.

Donations and volunteers are needed to help make this community event a success.

We are looking for:

  • Food & Food Supplies Donations

  • Bags of Individually Wrapped Candy

  • Monetary Donations

  • Trunk-Or-Treat “hosts”

We anticipate ministering to over 300 children and their families.

If you are interested in participating in the trunk or treat please bring some candy and have your vehicle in the lower level parking lot by 4:45 p.m. We will supplement what you bring with the donations, so don’t feel you have to be able to afford 400 pieces of candy in order to participate.

You will be assigned a designated parking space for your vehicle. Remember to decorate with family friendly decorations. Even if you are planning to run a game, you can still participate in the trunk or treat. We will end all games at 6:55 to give everyone time to get to their cars. If the weather is bad, most activities will be moved into our multipurpose room; however, the hay ride & bon fire will be cancelled. Children will be able to go trick or treating inside throughout our many classrooms.

If you have any questions in regard to this event, please don’t hesitate to contact Heidi Stimmel, Monica Swank or Dusty Wallace.

We hope you will come celebrate the harvest with us!
